About Brandes' IRC
In 2007, the Canadian Securities Administrators enacted
legislation requiring all mutual funds to establish an independent
review committee for the funds. The mandate of the Brandes IRC is
to review all conflict of interest matters referred to it by
Brandes, and consider whether Brandes' proposed actions achieve
a fair and reasonable result for the Brandes Funds. Brandes will
refer for approval or recommendation all situations where a
reasonable person could consider Brandes to have an interest that
could conflict with the interests of the Brandes Funds.
On an annual basis, the Brandes IRC will report to unitholders
regarding its activities on behalf of the Brandes Funds (see links
right).
