- Offers a diversified portfolio of primarily Canadian equities,
with the ability to invest moderately outside Canada
- Is managed with a focus on long-term consistency and
repeatability
- Targets being fully invested in securities with minimal
cash
Portfolio characteristics
- Focuses on companies of all sizes
- Holding period for stocks is typically 3 - 5 years
- Typical diversification at time of purchase: 5% maximum per
security; industry weightings generally do not exceed the greater
of (a) 20% of the fund or (b) 150% of the relevant index weight
(S&P/TSX Composite for Canadian equities; MSCI World Index for
Global equities)
- Invests in units of Brandes Global Equity Fund for foreign
exposure
